Question:
I was reading through the questions and saw part AL59501 will fit a 2000 GMC Sierra 1500 2wd, but I could not find any information if it will fit this truck w/6in lift. Does the 6in lift change things or do I need any additional components for the fit?

Hey David, it's good to hear from you again!
The only way any of the air bag systems, like the Air Lift Ride Control Air Helper Springs # AL59501, will work with your 2000 GMC Sierra 1500 is if that 6" lift is a body lift. If it's a legit lift that increased the mounting distance for where this suspension kit will fit, then we'll need to look at some other options because none of the air bag kits that fit your truck have any kind of spacer to work with them.
I really like the RoadActive Suspension # RAS54FR because it installs above and works in tandem with the leaf spring suspension on your truck (see attached photo).
I'm attaching a review video of this kit for you to check out, but if you have any questions or concerns about it please feel free to reach out in the comment section below!

Hey David, how did things go with your lifted Sierra and the suspension setup? Did the RoadActive Suspension end up being a better fit for your 6-inch lift? Your update could make it easier for the next person working with a similar truck.
