Width of the Replacement Head for Curt MV Weight Distribution Systems

Question:
How wide is the ball mount? From point to point? I want see if it will fit in a 9 inch tall x 12 inch wide toolbox. Thanks.

Hey Donald, thanks for reaching out!
The Replacement Head for Curt MV Weight Distribution Systems # C17075 is 12" wide at the widest points (see attached photo) so it will be a tight fit.
It does come in a box already though so you might be able to just use the box it comes in if you're just getting the head section. The box it comes in measures 12-3/4" x 8" x 7" if that helps.

Hey Donald, did the Curt MV weight distribution head end up fitting in your 9-by-12 toolbox? Knowing how it worked could help others trying to store or ship the same part.
