Hello , is there81/ to 9ft roof top container available ? That can store and carry a 8ft surfboard or other item that length . Can one be made ?

No, there is not Johnny. The largest cargo box we carry is the Thule Motion 3 item # TH59PN, which has interior measurements of 86-1/2" long x 30" wide x 14-13/16" tall. We do not manufacture cargo boxes sorry.
Just out of curiosity why are you trying to put a long board in a box?
