Fitment of the Thule Motion XT XXL # TH629906 on a 2010 Toyota Highlander with Factory Roof Rack

Question:

with toyota factory roof rack. not sure if this will fit on. If i measure from front of the front crossbar the crossbar is about 2inch wide to back of the hatch, i only get 51.5, but there is plenty of room in front of the front cross bar another 41. thanks!

I can definitely help you! If you have a factory roof rack on your 2010 Toyota Highlander Hybrid, the measurement you need to make on your roof rack is when the front crossbar is in the furthest front position available on your rack. Many factory crossbar systems are adjustable. If you have another 41 inches to move the crossbars forward, that provides you with the required minimum of 55 inches from the front crossbar to where the line and roof meet to mount the Thule Motion XT XXL # TH629906 without interfering with your trunk. I went ahead and attached a diagram of this measurement for your convenience.

Another relevant measurement is the height and width of the bars themselves. I recommend measuring your bars to make sure they do not exceed 3-1/2 inches wide x 1-11/16 inches tall.
