Hello John,

Thanks so much for getting that measurement for me. Sorry for the little delay in getting back to you. I was not at the same location at the SumoSprings yesterday but was able to go out and get the measurement this morning. It's right at 6 1/4" with the 1" spacer that comes with the kit, so you will have about a 1 3/4" gap. I included an image of an installed SumoSpring that we did here at etrailer on a Chevy Silverado, as you can see a gap is normal. The nice thing about the SumoSprings is that they are there when you need them, when you are unloaded there will be a gap.

With that being said, the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle # SS45FR will work for your 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 with 2" lift.

Why are you looking to upgrade your bump stops? Hauling something fun, or for work?

So I sent you the measurement of 8” for my truck , not loaded and with the 2” blocks. I have a trailer with tools that I haul regularly.

@JohnW I forgot to take in account the bracket as well, so really you will have less than 1 1/2" gap. These will be great for what you are using them for. They are meant to have a gap, they are there for when you need them. The gap helps with ride quality when you are unloaded. Once you get things set up, please let me know what you think of them.
