Yes, you can Steve! The Curt Heavy Duty Forged Ball Mount item # C93JR comes with the hitch ball already preinstalled though. You'll just need to remove it.

The Curt Heavy Duty Forged Ball Mount item # C93JR is designed for a 2-1/2" hitch and comes with a 2-5/16" ball.
