Regulator, Fittings, And Hoses Needed To Connect Two 100lb Propane Tanks Together On A Food Truck

Hello I am building a food truck that is 400000 btu at full load but will most likely be consuming 250-350k but most of the time I was also considering running two 100 lbs cylinders and advice of the regulator needed and the other needed components to hook the tanks together would be appreciated

Hey John,
To start off you can thread the tee from the MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay T-Fitting # 103538-MBS and then use the include hose to thread into the second tank and plug it into one of the two quick disconnect ports to connect the tanks together. From there you'll need to determine if you need a vertical # 108220 or horizontal # 108221 regulator.
You'll need to use the # 37207-30065 to connect the tee to the horizontal regulator. If you need the vertical regulator you'll need to also pick up a 1/4" npt female to 1/4" npt male 90"degree elbow fitting from your local hardware store. The output for these regulators is 3/8" npt female so we'll need to know what connection you're attaching this to the find the right adapter fittings. These regulators are rated for 400,000btu's so you should have enough capacity for full your setup.
