The MB Sturgis 2-Stage Propane Regulator part # 108221 for horizontal mount or part # 108220 for vertical mount is what I recommend for a 100 lb tank. It does not matter which you choose so long as you have the vent pointed downward. These regulators will work just fine with both propane and lp gas. In order to connect either regulator you can use the MB Sturgis POL Propane Tank Connector Fitting part # 204051-MBS or the MB Sturgis Hose Assembly part # 100202.

I have been looking for this information. I have a cabin with gas stove and gas lights. I am having a problem with the lights now being a bright as they should be. I feel like it is the regulator, maybe even the wrong one. Do you have this reg. available, the one you recommended? I will be mounting the reg. on the outside of the cabin. Does it need to be protected like a cover over it? Since I am mounting it outside, is one of these reg. better than the other? I will running the hose from the tank to the reg. I have a good hose on it now.. Many thanks
