Which B and W Tow and Stow to use with 2024 Ram 3500 and 2500
Updated 11/17/2025 | Published 12/05/2024 >
Question:
I am needing to order tow n go adjustable hitches for a 2024 Ram Tradesman 3500 Crew Cab 4WD and a Ram Tradesman 2500 Crew Cab 4wd. They both have a 2.5 inch shank and I was thinking the 7 inch would work but not sure if we need the 8.5 instead. I was wondering if you have had feedback from customers on that. The trucks are stock. The 3500 is 24 inches to the top of the receiver opening, the 2500 is 25 inches. We tow small atv trailers, boat trailers, cargo trailers, and flatbed trailers.

Hey Jason, so while we don't have specific feedback on which B and W Tow and Stow to use with your trucks you gave enough info to know that the part # BWTS20049B would be the correct choice. You won't see many trailers with a lower coupler height than the 17/18 inch height that this ball mount would be ideal for based on it's drop rating.
