Does Rhino Rack for Ford Transit Connect Fit 2012 Ford Transit Connect

Question:

I went to the Rhino Rack website and did fit my vehicle, which is a 2012 Ford Transit Connect. It said it had NONE AVAILABLE for their racks for that vehicle. It seems like a no brainer that the RLZ01-DC will work. Correct? Just wondering.

Hey Polar, yes the Rhino Rack roof rack part # RLZ01-DC does fit your 2012 Ford Transit Connect. I am not sure why they didn't list a fit for this.

Hey Polar, how did the Rhino-Rack roof rack work out on your Transit Connect? It’d be great to hear if the fit matched what you expected. Your update could make it easier for others with the same van.

@JamesonC The rack worked just fine. Since there is a bow/aft/starbord/port orientation to the stanchions, they probably could be better labeled. (Are they labeled? I do not remember). I did it in the winter which meant it was probably dark when I got to it. So, maybe use peel off labels? However, everything worked out well. They all screwed right in to the well nuts on the roof. They are sturdy enough for my white water kayaks.

@PolarH The two crossbars are not labeled front and back. There are two different height crossbar feet that come with the rack though. The taller one goes up front and the shorter out back.
