Can Ram Bed Step Be Used With TorkLift Tie-Down At The Same Time?

Question:

Is there any way to leave the factory installed bed step in place when installing a TL23NR? Is there any other option to give me a fit option? Thank you

Due to the rear portion of the TorkLift Tie Downs # TL23NR taking up the same area as the factory fold down bed step, you are unable to use both these and must remove the factory step. The only other option would be to use a different style tie down which I do not recommend as they are not as strong as the TorkLift.

Hey, did removing the factory bed step work out so you could mount the TorkLift tie downs? Knowing how that setup turned out could help others deciding between keeping their step or switching to these tie downs.

@BudM Yes, the step needed to get removed before installing the tie-down. The tie-down fits fine without the step installed. I wish there was a modification to be able to remount the step in addition to the tie down but there isn't one that I can find.
