These custom fit tie-downs give you the safest and most comfortable ride when hauling a camper. They mount to the frame of your pickup - no drilling required! With the arms removed, the brackets can barely be seen. Made of rustproof aluminum.
Features:
If you're looking for the best tie-downs for your camper, frame-mounted is the way to go. The frame is the most solid part of your entire vehicle, so it just makes sense to attach your camper to something that's not going to warp, bend, or twist. Even more importantly, the camper's center of gravity will sit lower and its weight will be spread across the entire bed. This avoids a top-heavy load perched on top of your bed rails that's liable to sway and get pushed around by crosswinds. The camper's not going to shift or slide around while you drive; it's going to stay put, and your truck is going to handle just like it does without a camper.
Quick Tip: If you have a plastic or spray-in bed liner, it's important that you use a rubber mat under the camper to eliminate any sliding or bouncing.
Frame-mounted tie-downs are also a great pick for preserving your truck's good looks. The brackets install on the frame, tucked nearly flush with the underside of the vehicle. Remove the arms from the brackets when you're not hauling your camper, and the brackets will be barely visible.
Completely custom to your vehicle, the tie-downs attach to exisiting holes in your frame so that there's little to no drilling and no need for any modifications. Because they're custom, you'll want to use our in-house application guide to make sure you get the exact right model. The tie-downs you need might be different depending on what type of hitch or other accessories you have.
Once the tie-downs are installed, use a set of turnbuckles (sold separately) to secure the camper to the tie-downs. The shank on each arm has 2 pin holes so you can choose how far out they extend, that way the turnbuckles can reach the anchors on your camper without making contact with your truck. Tighten the turnbuckles to the correct level of tension (not too tight!).
Make sure the anchor points are offset from the tie-downs instead of lined up with them so that they will hold your camper from multiple angles. This is important for keeping your camper from shifting. Two holes in the attachment plate of the tie-downs let you find the best angle for you camper anchors.

Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Torklift Talon Custom Frame Mounted Camper Tie-Down Set. This set is going to provide the attachment points at the rear of your truck bed for securing your bed mounted camper. This is just gonna provide the two back tie-downs, or rear tie-downs, you will also need the front tie-downs, those are sold separately, you can find them here at etrailer.com, using the part number that you see on the screen there, that's gonna give you the tie-downs at all four corners to keep your truck bed camper nice and secure. This is a custom fit, it's gonna work for your 2019 and newer Ram 3500 with the eight foot bed, as well as your 2022 and newer Ram 3500 with a six and a half foot bed. This is designed to work with a factory installed hitch and with either a factory electric board under the cab, or without a board or a step.
We do have a vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com to kinda simplify that process for you. You just type in your year, make and model of your vehicle, we'll let you know which products will work for you, so we can help you walk through that process a little bit easier than the way I've just described it. But this is gonna be a really nice option for securing your truck bed camper to your truck, to make sure that it's going to be very stable. Having these attached, these are going to fit right to your truck frame, because they are that custom fit, you're not gonna have to worry about losing ground clearance, they are a frame mounted design that's gonna ensure excellent handling by securing it to your truck's base, instead of up on the bed, it's going to help better distribute the weight to keep it from being too top heavy and shifting too much, so having it connected right to your truck's frame is gonna be a really great option for you. This is made of really nice rust proof and a very durable construction, you got your lightweight aluminum tie-down inserts here, these are going to be very easy to work with, they are very lightweight, these will secure to your stainless steel receiver brackets here.
They both have this high-impact powder coat finish that's gonna add an extra layer of protection to make sure that even underneath your truck, it's still gonna help protect from rust and corrosion, that sort of thing. These can be easily removed, so when you don't have your camper in your truck bed, you can just pull these out, they include these caps that can go right on here, and cover that up, so nothing's getting inside there, and then you can see, we do have two holes here in our tie-down inserts, so that's going to accommodate different widths of campers. So if your camper is a little wider, you've got that further hole there, to help kinda accommodate that, if it's a little bit more narrow, you can bring that in to that point there, and then whenever it's where you want it, just slide your pin through like so, get it attached. But this is gonna be really nice rather than having this permanently sticking out, taking away from the appearance of your truck, being able to remove that, just just put a cap on there, you're really not ever gonna see this, it's gonna be virtually undetectable when you're not wanting to use that insert there, so that's gonna leave your truck looking really nice, you won't even know it's there most of the time. They do include all the hardware and instructions that you're gonna need to get this installed, so very, very simple to walk you through that process, get this all put in place, and ready to go, so that you can enjoy your camper in your truck bed.

So that's gonna complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com.
