Hey Trevor,
To flat tow your 2025 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon you'll need the following components:
Baseplate: Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-521453-5. This is a fit for a factory plastic or steel bumper, if you have an aftermarket bumper we'll need to check fitment.
Tow Bar: etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar for Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plates # e74ZR. This tow bar comes with safety cables bracketed to the arms and a built in drop/rise to help keep it level between your motorhome and Wrangler.
Tow Bar Wiring: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267. This will transfer your motorhome's traffic signals to the tail lights of your Wrangler. If you have ParkSense proximity sensors then you'll need to go with the # RM63MR instead.
Braking System: If your motorhome has hydraulic brakes then you'll want the Demco Stay-IN-Play Duo # SM99251. This system has an indicator light that'll need to tap into the brake light switch of your Wrangler. Since that wire isn't useable you'll need to install a stop light switch kit # RM-751490 and connect its output to the indicator light for the braking signal.
If your motorhome has air brakes then you'll need the Demco Air Force One # SM99243 instead. This uses a reed switch for the brake signal so it would not require a stop light switch kit like the Stay-IN-Play does.
It's not required but I do highly recommend also installing a charge line kit # RM-156-25 to keep the Wrangler's battery charged as you tow so that you don't get to your destination and have to deal with a low/dead battery. If your motorhome doesn't have a charge line ran to the 7-way then you can also pick up the # RM-156-75 as well.

Hey Trevor, how did your flat tow setup for the Wrangler Rubicon turn out with the Roadmaster base plate and tow bar? It’d be great to hear how everything worked together on your first trip. Your update could make it easier for the next person setting up a similar Jeep.
