Tandem Axle Wheel Chocks/Stabilizers That Fit 15" Distance Between Trailer Tires

Updated 12/16/2025 | Published 11/14/2024

Question:

I have a travel trailer with dual axles. I am looking for a wheel immobilizer that goes between the wheels to keep the trailer from moving once parked as opposed to normal chocks. I see many of these offered, but my issue is the distance between the tires is 15 inches. Most of the ones so far that I am seeing only extend up to 12 inches. Suggestions?

Hey Eric,

There are a wide range of wheel chocks out there so I definitely get where you're coming from, but we also have exactly what you're needing!

The Super Grip Chock XL Wheel Stabilizers # UF21-001095 will work with up to 17" of wheel spacing so you'll be able to use it without max-ing out the stabilizers. Another reason I recommend these over other options is because they come with padlocks so you get a little peace of mind once they are installed as well.

Something to keep in mind is that you still need some standard wheel chocks, like the TRED GT # RR57AP, because the stabilizer mentioned above isn't approved to work as a safety chock.

Hey Eric, how did the Super Grip Chock XL stabilizers work out with your 15-inch wheel spacing on the trailer? Your update could make it easier for the next person trying to find the right fit for wider axle spacing.
