Hey Jenna, welcome back! To add a set of 5th wheel rails to your 2025 Chevy Silverado 2500, I recommend the B&W Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails item # BWRVK2505. This set of rails are industry standard and are definitely compatible with Andersen Ultimate 5th Wheel Hitches like item # AM3200.

The brackets included with the B&W item # BWRVK2505 are custom fit and install in pre-existing holes in your Silverado's frame. They fit the both the 6-3/4' and 8' bed lengths and include all hardware necessary for installation.

To make towing with a 5th wheel easier, I also want to recommend adding the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness item # C53CR. This harness puts a 7-way connector in the bed of your Ram and allows you to keep the one on your bumper. This makes hooking up to your 5th wheel trailer easier and more convenient.

What kind of trailer are you pulling?

I purchased these rails for my 2024 Silverado 2500HD, which came without the 5th wheel prep package. If you know what you're doing, you can do this yourself. If not, you can hire a qualified technician to do it for you. This is a high quality unit and will perform well, assuming it is installed correctly. I've used it for two years, towing a fifth wheel for thousands of miles.

I ordered and installed this kit for my 2025 non prepped 2500HD. Excellent instructions, hardest part was getting the heat shields off and back on. I ended up just cutting them a bit.

@Ryan Glad you got the B&W item # BWRVK2505 rails installed. Thanks for the heads up about the heat shields.

I bought this kit for my 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500 last year. Came with everything needed and instructions. Even though the location holes are predrilled at the factory I had it installed by a mechanic. It was too much for me to work under the truck. You should also have a torque wrench to tighten the bolts properly. However it's an easy install if you're up to it.
