Which B and W Turnoverball Gooseneck # BWGNRK1309 Fits 2016 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel

Question:

Just want to check to see if this gooseneck hitch will work on my 2016 Ram 1500 ecodiesel Bighorn with crew cab and 5 foot bed. I do have the factory tow package with 3.92 gear ratio axel and inner spring airbags. I do plan to switch to axle mounted airbags in the future. Thank you, Marcus

Hey Marcus, yes the B and W Gooseneck hitch part # BWGNRK1309 does fit your 2016 Ram 1500 short bed with an ecodiesel engine.

@Marcus So none of the air bag kits we offer fit with the B and W Gooseneck hitch (or any other hitch for that matter) so you'd need to go with a suspension enhancement kit like the SumoSprings part # SSR-307-47 which gives you the support you are wanting, is compatible with an in-bed hitch, and doesn't require maintaining air pressure in bags so it's lower maintenance overall.

@JamesonC I already have the Air Lift 1000 Heavy Duty Air Helper Springs for Coil Springs Part Number: AL60818HD on the truck and I was hoping to upgrade to the axel bags with this hitch. It's not a huge issue that I can't upgrade to axle bags, but from your reply you said that etrailer doesn't have any airbag system that works with this hitch. Do I need to remove my Air Lift 1000 HD in-coil bags to install this hitch? Thanks, Marcus

@Marcus My apologies, actually with that style of air bag you are totally fine. It doesn't not interfere with the hitch at all. I assumed you wanted the LoadLifter style of bags which are not in the coils.
