Replacement projects get messy fast when the base, walls, and drain location do not match the opening you already have. This kit brings together a 40" long x 24" wide shower pan with a left hand drain setup and a surround formed to 40" wide x 23-3/4" deep x 66" tall for standard 40" x 24" alcove openings. When those measurements match your space, you can set the pan, line up the 2" drain hole with a standard 2" drain strainer (sold separately), and move the job forward with a full shower area that fits together.
Cracks usually start when the base underneath does not carry weight evenly, and that can turn one repair into another teardown. This shower pan uses a pre-installed foam base that supports the pan and keeps the bottom seated securely and evenly during installation. Once it is set on a prepared surface, the floor stays supported underfoot while you step in, rinse off, and keep using the shower instead of worrying about the base flexing below you.
Water getting past the edges is how a simple bath update turns into damage behind the wall. This kit pairs a 3-sided flange on the pan with full surround coverage around the bathing area, and the pan depth is 4-5/16" deep while the surround reaches 66" tall. This surround uses white ABS plastic with a scratch-resistant surface, installs with pressure sensitive tape (sold separately), ABS-compatible spray adhesive (not included), or rivets (sold separately), and can be drilled or adjusted on-site while 3 molded shelves keep soap and bottles within reach. Once the pan and surround are in place, you end up with a complete shower area that looks finished, keeps your essentials off the floor, and is ready to use without holding up the rest of the RV.
