Can A Rhino-Rack Roof Rack For Thule Tracks Be Used On Thule TracRac SR Bases

Question:

Do these crossbars work with the Thule tracrac SR base rails? Looking for a system to setup over my hard trifold bed cover that doesn’t already have slots for crossbars. Thanks!

Hey Cody,

The TracRac base rails are the "male" portion of this connection and have a portion that sticks up that the channel of the towers can slide over. The feet if the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack for Thule and Yakima Tracks # Y01-140B-NT are also the "male" part of the connection and use a bolt and square nut to clamp down into a channel, making these two parts incompatible.

You would have to mount Thule tracks # THTP54 to the bedrails in order to use the # Y01-140B-NT.

Are there any other sort of rails that these work with that I can install along the top of my truck bed? So then the racks would be going across the bed above my trifold cover

@Cody Only Yakima's tracks or Thule's tracks would be compatible with this rack unfortunately. The tracks could be mounted to the top of the bed rails but you'll likely need to remove the bedrail cap to get the tracks mounted to metal instead of plastic.
