Will this work on a CM flatbed with a 2 5/16 ball welded in 4 1/2 from bottom to top of bed?

The B&W Companion Slider Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter - Dual Jaw - 20,000 lbs # BWRVK3400 does not work with flat bed trucks.
The B&W Companion has its name because it is the companion to their gooseball hitch. B&W uses a unique square opening for their ball to sit in. You will need to install the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch for Flatbed Trucks - 30,000 lbs # BWGNRK1500, and then the B&W Companion Flatbed Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter - Dual Jaw - 25,000 lbs # BWRVK3050 would install right in the square opening where the ball sits. B&W does not have a slider hitch option for a flat bed as a slider is not required. Slider hitches are recommended on trucks that have a bed size smaller than 8 foot.
Since your gooseneck ball is welded to your flatbed, we do have a different option for you. The Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter for Recessed Ball - Single Jaw - 21,000 lbs # DM8550046. This 5th wheel hitch would attach directly to the gooseneck ball.
