How Are Accessories Secured to Yakima EXO Dual Arms to Prevent Theft

Question:
2023 Ram Proline AIrstream Rangeline Class B. Is there a way to ensure the storage bin cant be removed/stolen by simply unscrewing the two rack mounting knobs? Seems like someone could just unscrew the knobs and lift whatever carrier is attached off the rack?

Expert Reply:
Hi Larry; I believe you're referring to the SpeedKnobs on the ends of the Yakima EXO # Y62VR dual arms. The knobs have the Yakima SKS lock cores built in so accessories cannot be released from the tracks without the key. It also comes with the Yakima HitchLock to keep it secure on your hitch.
