Installing Roadmaster InvisiBrake On 2021 Ford Ranger With Hard Plastic Vacuum Line

2021 ford ranger cutting into the vacuum line is plastic not rubber coming off brake

Expert Reply:
Hello Marty, thanks for reaching out. We have been seeing more and more vehicles with these hard plastic vacuum lines. According do Roadmaster you will just cut the hard plastic vacuum line like normal before installing the rubber hose. You will need to use a worm clamp to secure the connection.
We have seen similar plastic brake lines on some Jeep models. The picture below shows this on a Jeep Wrangler JL so this is a good example of how this connection should be made. Feel free to reach out if we have any other questions.

What size hose rubber hose would I need to slide over the plastic vacuum Line also do I need the vacuum check valve installed on this job? It’s a 2021 Ford ranger
