Dear Gents, I have 2023 KEYSTONE COUGAR 368MBI. It have road armor equalizers. I am thinking to upgrade to morryde CRE ALLTREK 4000 Equalizers. I qm confused to identify my axles wheelbase weather 33 inch or 35 . And which wetbolts should i use for the upgrade. I have attached photos of the axle. It may help you to identify the size. Hello Salem, thanks for reaching out. When replacing an equalizer, it is critical that the replacement equalizer is identical in size to the original. The trailers suspension is built around a certain equalizer size, and there is very little tolerance for the equalizer. We can sometimes use the wheelbase to select an equalizer, but the best way is to simply compare the size.
The Road Armor # LC696740 equalizers are 6" long and 3-1/4" tall. The MORryde ALLTREK 4000 # MR89DR equalizers are 6-1/2" long and 4-1/2" tall, so this is not a suitable replacement. The size difference would throw your suspension off by too much. It will be best to stick with the Road Armor.
As far as the wet bolts we do have kits available. What I recommend are the MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kits like part # MR46ZR. This will replace all of your shackles and wet bolts. This kit comes with 2-1/4" long heavy-duty shackles, so please do measure the shackles on your trailer and make sure this is a match. Shackles are measured from center-hole to center-hole. If you have a different shackle size just let me know.
