Question:
Any idea where I can find a coupler lock that fits a Dexter DX7 coupler? Looks like the rounded shanks on a regular lock will not accommodate the square shape of the coupler. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Bob, thanks for reaching out. We have a few option for locks that will fit the Dexter DX7 coupler. For a locking pin I recommend the etrailer Surge Brake Coupler Lock # e98888. This will allow you to lock the coupler to the ball. The picture below shows it installed on a similar Dexter surge brake coupler.
If you are looking for a lock for while the trailer is in storage, I recommend the Blaylock EZ Lock Trailer Coupler Lock # BLTL-33. We have confirmed that this will fit on the DX7 coupler.
