P2 or P3 Brake Controller for 2006 Phaeton Motorhome

I need a brake controller for my 2006 Phaeton motorhome. I'm getting a flatbed trailer with electric brakes. P3 or P2

Hey Steven, I would recommend going with the P3 part # 90195 over the P2 # 90885 for your application. I prefer the full words on the display of the P3 instead of the codes that have to be interpreted.

@Steven Under your driver side dash there are 4 wires that have butt connectors on them. They are labeled by function. To install a brake controller like the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 that you referenced connect the following wires from the pigtail that comes with the P3 to the following functions: Black - 12V Power Supply White - Ground Blue - Brake Controller Output Red - Stop Light Switch
