Hello Yahairaa, thanks for reaching out. Sorry to hear about your situation, and I am happy to help get you on your way up North. I went to Alaska back in 2011 and it was amazing. There are some upgrades to consider for your 2017 Ford Edge EcoBoost Titanium. A transmission cooler and rear suspension upgrade are what I recommend.
For a transmission cooler I recommend the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit # D13503. This will help with cooling which in turn improves performance and helps prolong the life of your transmission. This will definitely be a worthwhile add on if you plan on towing your trailer all the way from Florida to Alaska.
Another worthwhile upgrade are the Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs # AL77CD. These insert inside the factory coil springs and help beef up the rear suspension. This will prevent the rear end from sagging which will improve handling, braking and overall stability. Air can be added or removed from the bags as needed to fine tune your suspension. It will help make those long days behind the wheel a bit more relaxed and enjoyable.
Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions or if you need anything else.
