Question:
Good evening, I have the Reese friction sway control kit and bracket for 2” ball mounts from my previous trailer that I would like to mount onto my new trailer. My new trailer needs a zero drop ball mount for my truck which seem to have the mount and ball as one piece. Can you please tell me how I would attach the sway control kit if I can’t use the ball mount bracket? Thank you for your help.

Hey Nicolle, in a situation like this where the ball mount options available don't have a sway control tab bracket on the side of them what you would need to do is weld on a bracket like with the part # 3442 to a ball mount that does have the correct rise/drop like it sounds like you have currently.

Hey Nicolle, how did things go with welding the sway control tab onto your zero drop ball mount? Your experience could point others in the right direction who want to reuse their Reese sway control kit on a new trailer.
