Hello Ronald, thanks for reaching out. The best thing to do here will be to use the Hayes Air Actuated Trailer Brake Controller # HA100400C. This will allow you to control the electric brakes on your 5th wheel with your 2013 Peterbilt 337 day cab with air brakes.
You will also need to wire the Peterbilt with its own 7-way. For that use the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter # C59236 and the Universal Installation Kit # ETBC7. This will have everything you need to wire a 7-way. This kit comes with 25' of wire, so for a semi you may need some additional 10 gauge wire part # 10-2-1 to complete your installation.

Hey Ronald, how did the setup with the Hayes air-actuated brake controller work out on your Peterbilt? Did the wiring with the converter and installation kit go smoothly? Your update could make it easier for others working on similar trucks.
