Hey Bruce, I spoke with Lippert and they ensured me that the Replacement Plunger Door Sensor with Striker Plates for Kwikee Electric RV Steps # LC379388 is a normally closed switch.

Bryce, I ordered the switch you recommended and it arrived today. Problem is it is the same as the one I have with normally open contacts. The contacts are open until the button is depressed. The stamped number on the face of the switch, 9270 is the same on my original switch and the replacement I purchased. I believe the switch I need is Part Number: LC379407. For that one the contacts are closed until the button is pressed. I will also need to return the original switch for credit. thanks, Bruce Bakker
