Third time's a charm.... This is the third switch I have received to get the right one.
The problem is in the description of these momentary switches, none tell if they are Normally Open or Normally Closed. This one piece of information could solve a lot of frustrations, and shipping costs on both sides.
To be fare... The actual manufacture web site did not have this information either.
This installation was for entry lights as the door is opened to the RV, not for steps as in the description. This is a Normally Closed Switch.
The original part on the coach was a bit cheesy but this replacement design seems much better constructed. The metal is thick and it feels like a part that would last a long time. Better than the plastic part that was the original plunger switch. Good part at a good price!
Product was a perfect fit. 1 yr later still.reliable and working with no issues.
