What Should Display of Curt Spectrum Show When Not Connected to Trailer

Question:

What LEDs should be lit on the Spectrum Brake Controller when I have the trailer attached and Im just driving along brake pedal not pressed? What LEDs should be lit when I press the brake pedal? Thank you so much for your help.

Hey Paul, with the Curt Spectrum part # C51170 you should have blue lights on the sides of the display flashing when a trailer isn't connected and then the same lights go solid when the brakes are applied.

What about just driving along, trailer attached but not pressing the brakes. Should there be any LEDs lit then?

@PaulL When first connected it will flash green lights a couple times and then go blank until you press the brakes and then it will begin to show how much power is applied as it ramps up.
