Great question, Kris!
The Yakima HighSpeed Roof Bike Rack # Y78DJ is the newest edition of the HighSpeed and is replacing the part # Y02115.
There aren't any life-changing upgrades to the newest edition, but enough that I recommend going with it over the older version. For example, the newest model has an off-road rating (which doesn't matter to a lot of people) and then it fits with a slightly larger wheelbase - up to 50" as opposed to 48" that the older one was rated for. Another subtle change is that the Yakima branding is a matte black color as opposed to the bright red on the side of the rack.
Again, nothing to really write home about, but enough that it warranted another generation and part number from Yakima.
