Updated 10/01/2024 | Published 09/23/2024

Question:

Need pontoon trailer tires, 5 on 5.5 bolt pattern, Trailer is 1971 vintage with split rims. The old tires are what I can read T49 High Speed Special, 6.90/6.00 T-9 I believe. I can replace the rims if needed, any suggestions

Hey Peter, for your 1971 Vintage with split rims you can use the Kenda Loadstar K364 Trailer Tire # AM10040. These tires are going to be direct replacements, will work with 9" x 4-1/2" rims and 9" x 4" rims, and has a max weight capacity of 1,298 lbs at 60 psi.

@BryceD, Not sure if my e-mail went through last week but can you tell me if there is a tire that fits the rim (AM20053) that I can purchase as a complete set?

@Peter Peter, it does not look like it came through, but you can use the Kenda 6.90/6.00-9 Bias Trailer Tire with 9" White Wheel # KE52JR.
