Will B&W Companion 5th Wheel Hitch Work W/ A Ram Truck With a 6" Lift

Question:
Good Afternoon, I have a 2014 Ram Mega Cab with a 6 1/2 bed. I am looking at getting a Jayco Seismic 5th wheel. The trailer weighs 13k empty. The problem is my ram is lifted about 6. The bed rails are 65inch from the ground. I know I will need a slider due to short bed but can I get a hitch that will work or will I need to modify the trailer? Or maybe both? Thanks, Sean

Sean, you should still be fine to use the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch for Ram Towing Prep Package # BWRVK3600 with your Ram that has a 6" lift.
This hitch has an adjustable height of 17-19" so you will be able to tailor the height of the 5th wheel hitch to be able to tow your Jayco without any issues.
