Can Mopar 20 5th Wheel Hitch be Installed on a 2022 Ford F-250 Super Duty without the Puck System

5th wheel hitch question: I just bought an F250 Super Duty with 6.7l diesel and an 8 foot bed. it does NOT have the Ford prep package. A 5th wheel that we are looking at comes with a RAM M20 5th wheel hitch top. Can I or what do I need to use it in my F250?

Hey Gary, thanks for reaching out!
In order to use your Mopar 20 5th wheel hitch on your 2022 Ford F-250 Super Duty you'll need the following:
- Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit # C79BR
- Replacement Base Legs for Curt A20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C16906
The Curt A Series 5th wheel hitches are the same as the Mopar hitches which is why the legs are interchangeable.
We also have a way to go with an OEM style puck system if you use the Under-Bed Rail and Installation Kit # RP87FR and the Curt OEM 5th-Wheel Hitch Legs # C16017 should you want to go that route.
If you don't already have an in-bed 7-Way I also recommend installing the Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness # 41157 so it's easier to connect the wiring from your trailer.

John, thanks. I'm moving pretty fast on this project, so my installer is going to get a Curt C20 hitch and install a rail kit. I'll likely purchase the wiring harness and install that myself. Gary
