Does this hitch require that the bumper or lower valance be cut?

Yes, it does! The lower fascia of your 2024 Kia EV6 will need to have a 2-1/4" x 3" cut made for the 2" receiver to protrude beneath your vehicle. This is common amongst every hitch that has been made for the 2024 EV6.
