Question:
Hi, we also have a Class B van with 2inch receiver and need a storage box lower and e-bike rack above for 2 e-bikes. We cannot use a rooftop cargo carrier as we have solar panels on the roof. Can you recommend anything? Thanks.

Hy Jenn, thanks for reaching out!
The Yakima EXO Swing Away 2 Bike Rack w/ Enclosed Cargo Carrier # Y34ZR would be perfect but the bike rack can only handle 40 lb bikes and most E-Bikes weigh over that.
For your application I recommend using the Swagman E-Spec # S94FR and using the Ramp and Bridge # S32YR to help make loading the bikes easier. Unfortunately, there isn't a way to add a cargo box to the mix - you're only options from here would be to add a box to the roof (which you said isn't possible) or to get a front mount hitch and carry the bikes at the front and a box at the back.

Hey Jenn, how did things go with the Swagman E-Spec and the ramp and bridge for your van setup? Were you able to get a good balance between carrying your e-bikes and having enough storage space? Your update could make it easier for others planning a similar setup.
