Trailer Hitch Recommendation 2024 Toyota Rav4 Prime with Handsfree Liftgate

Question:

Hi, I have a 2024 Toyota Rav4 Prime ESE. I see you many option for a towing hitch. Can you please let me know which ones has the least likely chance of interfering with the foot-activated lift gate? Thanks!

Hey Ted, the Curt Class III hitch part # C13416 is a fit for your 2024 Toyota RAV4 Prime. The receiver tube will prevent the sensor from picking up movement at the center of the vehicle, but if you wave your foot a few inches left or right of the receiver tube, the sensors will pick up the movement and operate the liftgate. There's kind of a sweet spot where the sensors work best, but once you find that, the hands free liftgate feature will work just fine.
