Does the EcoHitch item # EH97FR Black the Kick Sensor on a 2023 Toyota RAV4?

Question:

Does this affect the back up or any other sensors in any way? Will it obstruct the kick sensor for opening the trunk with your foot? Please let me know.

Yes, it will affect the kick sensor directly around the 2" receiver but you will still be able to utilize this function. You will just have to kick to the left or right and find where the EcoHitch item # EH97FR doesn't block the sensor. It will not affect the back up sensors.

All hitches designed for your RAV4 have the same issue with the exception of the Hidden Hitch item # DT97YR. This has a removable receiver that you can take off when you're not using it. When it is left on it still blocks the sensor.

The EcoHitch item # EH97FR has been confirmed to fit a 2023 Toyota RAV4. I have linked an installation video below to help you get it set up.

If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # C56434 and a ball mount kit item # C45534.
