Question:

I have a Viking 12.0 TD Max camping trailer GVWR 3.259 lbs. and want to replace the 3 leaf springs with a 4 leaf higher GVWR rating. The 3 leaf factory springs have been failing on many Viking 9 and 12 TDs.

Hey Jack, so we have a 4k 4-leaf spring that is 26 inches long with the part # e22YR. I would need you to verify the length of the springs you have now though as we don't know what length you have.

The other most common length is 25-1/4 inch like the part # e57SR but this is a 3 leaf spring.

I got under the Viking 12.0 TD Max and measured eye to eye (under weight) 25-3/4" , width of spring 2". Closest I saw was the e54SR. Wondering if the e47SR which is rated for 6,000 lbs would work? knowing it's double the rated axle weight. Also contact the Viking factory for help, they threw it to DEXTER who said they would have the answer-NOT.

@Jack It's hard to say since you got the length with weight weight on the trailer. Ideally we'd know the length without that to get most accurate info.
