Will this pintle hitch work with your Stowmaster towbar with a 3 inch lunette ring?

Hey Craig, so the Curt pintle part # C48005 that you referenced is designed for lunette rings that are 2-1/2 inch in diameter like the part # RM-581 and not the 3 inch ring part # RM-583.

For a similar pintle hook that fits both sizes we have the part # 337RM5P.

We have a couple options for you. I recommend the Curt Pintle Hook for 2" Hitches - 10,000 lbs #C48005 or #TR63043 either of which will fit in a 2 inch receiver as you stated. This is rated for well over what a UTV can handle. We also have the…
