Does the Exhaust on a 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Need to Be Lowered to Install the Curt Trailer Hitch

Question:

2024 Hyundai Santa Fe hybrid. Do you need to the muffler? If so what’s the best way to pull off rubber hanger? Thanks

Hey Steve, yes the exhaust does need to be lowered to install the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C37RV. The easiest way to do this is to use an exhaust hanger tool which can be found at just about any hardware store.

If you can't get a set of those, then you can also try spraying the rubber isolators down with some lubricant and then use a large pry tool to pop them loose.
