Replacement Surge Actuator for 1983 EZ Loader with Atwood Coupler

Question:
Good morning, I have a 1983 EZ Loader boat trailer model 6 M 3100 lbs. I am looking to replace the hydraulic actuator which is damaged. The brand of the hydraulic brake system is Atwood - Is it possible to find a new Atwood hydraulic actuator ? Its compatible with a another actuator brand ? What are the dimensions so that I can check the possible mounting on my trailer THANKS Clément

Hey Clement, so Atwood has been out of the coupler business for quite some time now so we don't have any direct fit replacement options we can recommend. Best option would be to replace it with a Demco like the part # DM72VR that you referenced. This would not be a direct fit replacement though as that's not currently available so some modifications would be needed.
