Question:
I just finished installing a dx7.5 and go hitch. Bled the system thoroughly. When pulling the trailer empty and stopping. The wheels hop and chirp. Might be because of drums have rust on them and I havent pulled a loaded boat yet? Any ideas?

Correct; since the trailer is currently empty, there is going to be some hopping of the wheels, and it would not have to do with the install of the Dexter DX7.5 Drop-N-Go Brake Actuator - Drum Brakes - 2" Ball - Zinc Plated - 7,500 lbs # 099-175-00.
Once you have a loaded trailer, the weight on the trailer will stop or greatly minimize any of the hopping you are experiencing.
