Parts Needed to Add Brake Controller to 2022 Toyota Tacoma

Hi Robin. I have a 2022 Tacoma without a tow package. I installed a 4 flat last year but would now like to add a 7-way with brake controller. Will this parts list be the same for my situation? Thanks.

Hi Mark; you can add a 7-way using the Tekonsha OEM Replacement Vehicle Wiring Harness # 22117 if you want or you can use the # ETBC7. The Tekonsha is a full replacement, including the 4-way. The # ETBC7 will save you some money since it doesn't have extra parts you don't need.
The Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED24FR and Mounting Panel # 331-TPSI-002 are also correct. However, the wiring harness will depend on the 7-way you add. If you decide to use the Tekonsha then you still need the # RED99FR and # 331-TPH-017. If you install the # ETBC7 then the # RED69FR is the correct wiring harness.
