Question:
I am looking to get airbags for the rear of my 2004 ram 1500. It is lifted so I dont know if they make larger bags for that? I bought the truck that way so I dont know how much it is lifted. I read that to find out, measure from the center of the hub to the bottom of the fender. It comes out to 29. Please let me know what I need to do since I would like to get this done before I purchase my travel trailer. Thank you.

Hello David, thanks for reaching out. It is possible to put air bags on your 2004 Ram 1500, and there are spacers available which make the kits fit lifted trucks. I suggest going with an Air Lift brand kit, part # AL57230 for 4WD trucks or part # AL57257 for 2WD models.
If you are unsure of how much lift you have or what spacer you need, the best way to determine this is to install the upper and lower brackets, measure the distance between them and subtract the height of the air bag. Then for example, if you still have a 2" gap, you can use the 2" lift spacers # AL52420. Or the # AL52440 for a 4" gap.
