Are The Curt 56487 And Part C45FV The Same Thing? For A 2024 Mazda CX-5

Question:
I have a 2024 Mazda CX-5 Premium Plus. I ordered the Curt class 2 receiver hitch and wiring harness last January. It appeared the correct wiring harness at that time was 56487. I was going to install the harness today, but when I checked online for installation help, it shows the correct harness to be C45FV. Are they the same thing, or did I purchase the wrong item? Thanks!

Hello Bruce, thanks for reaching out. The Curt 56487 and our part number # C45FV are one and the same. The # C45FV is simply our own unique part number for this item. We use our own unique part numbers for a lot of our parts. So, no worries, you did order the correct wiring harness for your 2024 Mazda CX-5 Premium Plus.
