What is Smallest Trailer Tire Diameter that Fits 5 Lug Bolt Pattern Wheel
Updated 02/03/2026 | Published 07/27/2024 >
Question:
Im looking for 8 wheels with low profile tires so my trailer can be as low as possible. What 5 lug wheels do you have? I measured 2-5/8 center to center of lugs. Also how tall would your LEAST tall tire be that would fit a 5 bolt hub?

Hey Mike, the smallest diameter wheel and tire we offer that fits a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern would be the size 165/65-8 like the part # AM3H240 which is just a little over 16 inches in diameter.
Now since this is a smaller wheel not all 5 lug hubs will work with it. What size do you have now and what is your axle capacity? Do you have brakes?
