Question:

We have the Hollywood Destination Lightweight 4-bike rack, bought in 2019. We used to have 4 regular pedal bikes. We now have 2 e-bikes and 2 regular bikes. Is there any adapters or a way to continue using this rack so we dont have to buy a new one? Didnt seem to work for us this past weekend because of the way the middle bars with straps hold the bikes in place. Or any suggestions for a rack that would work?

Hi Megan; the Hollywood Racks Bike Frame Adapter Bar for Women's and Alternative Frame Bikes # HRBA-PRO would help you mount the bikes on that bike rack. However, a bigger concern is the bike rack capacity. The Hollywood Racks Destination # HR4000 has a capacity of 35 lbs per bike. More than likely you're exceeding that with your e-bikes.

If that is the case, you're better off selling the bike rack and getting a new one like the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE # HR1400Z you looked at which has a capacity of 50 lbs per bike. This is a little different since it uses ratcheting hooks but you may still need the adapter bar depending on the design of your frame.
