Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution for 2024 Forest River Flagstaff 26FKBS

Updated 07/25/2024 | Published 07/23/2024

Question:

Hello there. I have a 2024 Forest River Flagstaff 26FKBS travel trailer. GVWR is 8,746 LBS, Dry Weight is 6,795 LBS, Hitch Weight is 946 lbs. I plan to tow this behind a 2017 Dodge Ram 2500 HD 6.7 Cummins Diesel equipped with Class V Receiver Hitch. Would the 10K LB Equalizer WDH suffice? Thank you in advance. Tony

Hey Tony, as long as the tongue weight of 946 lbs that you listed is the loaded weight then yes the part # EQ90-00-1000 would be correct and a really great option. If that was also a dry weight you'd instead want to upgrade with the part # EQ90-00-1200 which is rated for up to 1,200 lbs of tongue weight.

@Tony Nice! There's a reason people refer to the Equal-i-zer as the best WD so you'll like it.
