Question:
I recently bought used a 2009 Forest River Georgetown 40foot class A RV. Im looking for a no-sag sealant to use that will cure hard. I understand the need to stay flexible but, a previous owner had applied some kind of sealant on some slide trim and windows that cured to a sticky clay consistency. But when the slides go in and out that sealant rubs off onto everything and makes a streaky mess. Will this product stay in place and not rub off while sliding in and out once it cures?

Hey Jason,
The Alpha Systems 1010 Non-Sag Sealant # AL53KV does dry somewhat stiff but it is very tacky and hard to work with before it dries. It wasn't tacky afterwards but I was disappointed that I couldn't get a smooth finish running my finger around the trim.
Having used multiple brands the best one has been LaSalle Bristol's XTRM # 344270341437-1. This will be a bit softer once dried but shouldn't revert into a sticky clay consistency. This is white and it doesn't look like we offer a black so I don't know if that's a deal breaker for you with this motorhome.
